Alec St. John

Alec St. John has been playing guitar since he was 8 years old. He started out playing Classic Rock, but quickly became interested in other genres, eventually branching out to Jazz, Soul, and Gospel music in high school. He went to North Central University in Minneapolis to continue his studies in Jazz guitar under a Music Performance major, where he graduated with honors and numerous awards for his performance of Jazz music.

 

Alec has a passion for teaching music and making sure all of his students love making music, regardless of their background, tastes, and experience. He has taught children, teenagers, and adults of all experience and skill levels throughout a variety of genres including Jazz, R&B/Soul, Funk, Rock, Pop, Folk, Gospel, Worship, and Classical.
