About Gabriella

Gabriella Sanchez (she/her) is an Iowa native who recently moved to Mankato to work towards
her Bachelor’s degree in music education at MNSU. She has always enjoyed making music for
as long as she can remember, whether it’s road trip karaoke or performing with concert wind
ensembles. In her free time, she enjoys spoiling her dog, Misty, playing Minecraft, traveling, and
spending time with her friends.

Gabriella was a trumpet student of Dr. Douglass Snapp from 2019 until his retirement in 2024
and a voice student of Dr. Marc Jaros from 2017 to 2019. She has participated in numerous
ensembles, including The Govenaires and Maverick Machine, contemporary vocal ensembles at
MNSU and Normandale CC, concert bands, jazz bands, and musical theatre(in pit orchestra
and on stage). Her early exposure to music via childhood piano lessons instilled a lifelong
passion for music, which she continues to nurture.

Gabriella is excited to work with you and/or your child to grow another wonderful musician for
the world to hear!
